What is a CSA?

CSA stands for community-supported agriculture. It is one of the most direct ways that community members can support local farmers.

Membership in a CSA is a commitment to support a farm for the entire year in exchange for the bounty of the farm's produce.

How does our CSA work?

When you become a member of our CSA you will receive the following:
• A 16 week membership in our 2026 CSA, running from June 11th through October 1st.

• A weekly box of 5-7 fresh veggies and herbs with the occasional herbal tea or tincture.

• A weekly newsletter with highlights from the farm and recipe ideas.

• Priority access to add-ons such as fresh eggs, pork shares, herbal teas, and cut flowers.

• Discounts and promotions for farm events and activities.

Members can choose from four locations to pick up their boxes:
Seattle (Greenwood neighborhood)
Shoreline
Everett
Arlington (on the farm)

Boxes will be available for pickup on Thursdays between 3 PM and 6 PM.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dates of the CSA pickups?

Pickups will be every Thursday starting June 11th and running through October 1st. There will be no pickup 4th of July week (July 2nd).

Is a CSA membership worth the value?

We recognize there is a significant upfront cost to a CSA membership and it is a big commitment when members might not know what to expect.

To help alleviate the cost burden, we do have an option to pay in three installments over the course of the season.

We also strive to ensure that the value of our produce over the course of the season is comparable to what you would pay at a farmers market for fresh produce. With that goal in mind, each box has an average value of about $40 worth of produce and herbal products.

Additionally there are benefits to membership beyond the box, including a members only newsletter with recipes and preservation tips, priority access to eggs and other weekly add-ons, and exclusive perks at our on farm events throughout the season.

What if I am on vacation or can't make a pickup?

We encourage members to reach out in a timely manner if you will be unable to make a pickup, which may allow us to arrange an alternative pickup.

If members know they will be gone for a pickup, we encourage them to arrange for a friend or family member to pickup during their absence.

Boxes that are not picked up, with no prior communication, will be donated to our partners at the Arlington Food Bank.

I don't eat many veggies/I'm a single person household, will a CSA work for me?

Our CSA boxes are sized for a 2 to 4 person household of typical veggie eaters; however we have plenty of single person households who have had no problems with too many veggies. In our members newsletters we provide plenty of recipes and preservation tips to help members eat or save the produce they receive each week.

I love the idea of a CSA, but its not for me or I will be gone most of the summer, what can I do?

If a CSA membership just isn't right for you, or wont work with your schedule, we totally understand. But we've got some other exciting options for you.

CSA memberships make great gifts! You can purchase a CSA membership and gift it to a friend or family member.

A donation can be made to support our partners at the Arlington Food Bank. Donations are used to provide the fresh produce that would normally go in a CSA box to the Arlington Food Bank instead to support their mission of feeding local families in need.
