Our Story
The Farms at Rooted NW is more than just a
farm, it's a collaboration of Reconnecting Roots Farm, River Raven Herbs, and Midgarden Farm, that is rooted in a shared mission. This collaboration has come together on a former dairy farm in Arlington, Washington, to re-imagine what local agriculture can be.
We believe farming is stronger together. By sharing land, equipment, and knowledge, we support each other in bringing fresh, healthy food to our communities while stewarding the land we call home. Our approach is rooted in agro-ecology, working with nature rather than against it. Through practices that nurture healthy soil and protect our water, we grow food that's not only good for you, but tastes great too.
Our mission is simple: to connect people with the land and with each other through our most common daily need—healthy food. When you choose The Farms at Rooted NW, you're supporting sustainable agriculture, local collaboration, and a food system that puts people and planet first.
How it Works
When you purchase from the Farms at Rooted NW you will receive the freshest produce harvested from our farms right to you at one of our conveniently located pickup sites. To ensure peak freshness, we harvest and deliver only on specific days of the week. All of our produce is grown on our farms in Arlington, and is subject to availability and the seasonality of each product. See our store for more details.
We also have a CSA membership which includes a weekly delivery of the freshest produce, teas and herbs. CSA members also receive first priority and free delivery when purchasing additional products from the store. See our CSA sign up page for more details.
